Yoga Is Not Something I Teach.
It Is Something I Continue To Learn.
Yoga entered my life as a practice, but over the years it became a way of observing, understanding, and experiencing life itself.
What began as curiosity gradually evolved into a lifelong journey of learning—not only through books, but also through personal practice, travel, conversations with teachers, and time spent in ashrams across India. The more I explored, the more I realised that Yoga is far more than physical postures. It is a complete science of understanding the body, mind, breath, emotions, and ultimately ourselves.
Yoga School of Bharat was born from this understanding.
Its purpose is simple: to make the timeless wisdom of Yoga accessible, practical, and relevant for modern life while preserving its authentic foundations.
The Journey
Like many people, my first introduction to Yoga was through physical practice. As I continued learning, I discovered an entirely different dimension—one that explored awareness, consciousness, psychology, philosophy, breath, meditation, and the deeper nature of human existence.
That curiosity took me beyond classrooms.
Over the years, I travelled extensively across India, visiting ashrams and spiritual centres in Uttarakhand, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and many other places. Every journey, every teacher, every discussion, and every experience added another perspective to my understanding.
At the same time, my background in Computer Science and years of entrepreneurship shaped the way I approached these teachings. Rather than accepting ideas blindly, I wanted to understand them logically, practically, and through direct experience.
This balance between ancient wisdom and rational inquiry eventually became the foundation of both Yoga School of Bharat and my book, User Manual for a Human Being.
What Yoga School of Bharat Stands For
Yoga Beyond Physical Exercise
Yoga is much more than flexibility or fitness. It is a way of bringing harmony between the body, mind, breath, and awareness.
Learning Through Understanding
Every class encourages observation, questioning, and personal experience rather than blind acceptance. Understanding creates lasting transformation.
Ancient Wisdom For Modern Life
Traditional yogic knowledge is presented in a practical and scientific manner, making it meaningful and applicable to everyday life.
A Lifelong Journey
Yoga is not a destination but a continuous process of learning. Every practice, every challenge, and every experience becomes an opportunity for greater awareness.
